Prompt engineering

Just like how the way you ask a question in real life can change the answer you get, the way you phrase something to an AI model can dramatically affect the quality and tone of the response. The same model can sound helpful, vague, or even confused depending on how you ask.

There are two main types of prompts:

• Conversational prompts: These are what you type when chatting with AI tools like ChatGPT, Claude, or Gemini.

• System or product prompts: These are behind-the-scenes instructions built into apps or tools by developers to shape the AI’s personality, tone, and behavior.
